The program will be held at Burton Barr Library in Phoenix and will conclude with renowned keynote speaker Carl Wilkens - the only American rescuer who remained in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide. Sessions include the opportunity to hear the testimony of a local Holocaust survivor, and to learn from The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History's Arizona History Teacher of the Year Mr. Ashley Crose. The entire program is free. Books will be available for teachers and their students at no cost. Please bring a bag or two for the free books you select.
