Introduction to Jewish History is a crash course in the Jewish historical experience from Late Antiquity to the Holocaust. It presents the major periods, geographies, trends, and concepts that have shaped Jewish history. This is event is free and open to the public. The documentary i was 8814, the story of Hanna Zack Miley's life––a story of forgiveness and reconciliation––features Hanna, a Jewish Holocaust survivor and Verena Lang, the daughter of a Nazi leader who opened the door for Hitler's annexation (Anschluss) of Austria in 1938.
