The program will be held at Burton Barr Library in Phoenix and will conclude with renowned keynote speaker Carl Wilkens - the only American rescuer who remained in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide. Sessions include the opportunity to hear the testimony of a local Holocaust survivor, and to learn from The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History's Arizona History Teacher of the Year Mr. Ashley Crose.
