SPEAKER: Holocaust Survivor, Suly Chenkin. Suly Chenkinwas born in Kovno, Lithuania. As a ten month old, Suly’s family, together with about 40,000 other Jews were interned in the Kovno Ghetto. Her life was spared at 3 1/2 when her parents sent her into hiding with a woman named Miriam Shulman. Please join us as Suly tells her incredible story of perseverance
and courage and how she eventually came to be reunited with her family.
