Echoes from the Night of Broken Glass

Survivors and descendants of survivors will be sharing how their families experienced and survived the Night of Broken Glass in November 1938 and how those events ultimately spurred all of them to flee Germany or Austria forever. Following their testimonies, Sheryl Ochayon, Project Director for Yad Vashem’s Echoes & Reflections, will speak about the legacy of the Night of Broken Glass and its echoes today, as we confront contemporary antisemitism.

This event is co-hosted by Phoenix Holocaust Association and Arizona Jewish Historical Society.

It will be held in the sanctuary of Temple Kol Ami.
