For 25 years Steve was a full-time choral director\, travelling the world and transforming the lives of young people through the power of music. His choir was the first in history to travel to and perform in Antarctica. With the pandemic\, he decided to retire from music education so that he could pursue his playwriting avocation full time. Mr. Fisher will talk about his most recent work\, The Last Boy…a new play with music. It was inspired by the 100 boys in Terezin concentration camp who fought the Nazis\nwith poems\, and the 1 boy who saved them. The Last Boy..a new play with music had its world premiere Off Broadway in July of 2021.
